Counselling is a collaborative process, where you can explore your thoughts, emotions and experiences, in confidence and without judgement.
You might benefit from counselling if you are interested in understanding yourself and important relationships in your life better, developing coping strategies and making positive changes in your life.
There’s no issue that’s too big or too small to seek support for.
Individuals seek therapy for numerous reasons, such as managing stress, improving self-confidence, processing grief, coping with mental health conditions, navigating life transitions like divorce or job loss, and seeking personal growth or direction.
Sessions are available in person, or online.
“Feeling listened to and understood changes our physiology: being able to articulate a complex feeling and having our feelings recognised lights up our limbic brain and creates an “aha” moment”.

I am passionate about normalising conversations around mental health to remove the stigma that is often associated with having therapy.
I know starting with a therapist can feel daunting, especially if it is your first time in therapy.
My goal is to help you take those first steps towards meaningful change.
Our first session is an opportunity to meet each other and see how you feel about working with me.
There are some standard questions I go through with you, as well as explaining about confidentiality.
Most of the session will be about giving you space to tell me what has bought you to therapy and us exploring together how it could help you. Any questions are welcome.
We can also discuss any apprehension you may feel about therapy, alongside any expectations you may have.
“My approach is holistic and personalised to you. This means I consider all aspects of the person in what may be contributing to your difficulties”.

Reduced rates are available for longer term therapy (12+ sessions)
